Open Show Evaluator

14 days, project fee £2800 (including travel expenses)

We are looking for a freelance Evaluator to work with Leeds Art Gallery on the Open Show youth engagement project, between April and end of September 2010.

The Open Show is an exciting new part of Leeds Museums and Galleries youth engagement programme for 2010. This year, the Open Show is being extended to artists from 0 to over 100 years old from across Yorkshire. In the lead up to, and during, the exhibition there are family, school and targeted learning programmes, which are supported by the national Find Your Talent project.

The Evaluator will be responsible for collecting baseline data from the different strands of the programme, assessing the impact of the project in terms of the participants, visitors and Gallery staff, and developing a sustainable model of future evaluative working. The Evaluator will be responsible for submitting a final project report to include lessons learned and recommendations for future working and developments.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of project evaluation and excellent communication skills with a variety of audiences.

The role is for an immediate start in April 2010 and continues until the end of September 2010.
