Dear all,

Please find information about an EU Careers event organised by the European Personnel Selection Office in London on 22nd March:

Careers with the EU Institutions offer everything- a lifetime of different jobs, an international focus and the chance to make a difference to the lives of millions. This session aims to inform you about the wide range of opportunities we offer graduates from all academic backgrounds.

We will also provide information about our new selection procedures for graduate entrants. From 2010 these are changing and move away from the traditional EU-knowledge testing towards a competency-based model which we feel is needed to find candidates with the ability and potential that we want to help develop modern Europe.

Huw Davies, of the European Personnel Selection Office, and additional speakers will talk about EU Careers on Monday 22nd March 2010 at the European Commission Representation in the UK London offices (8 Storey's Gate, London, SW1P 3AT*)

Mr Davies will primarily speak about the new selection procedure. He will be joined by members of staff from the European Institutions who will discuss their careers and daily tasks with the aim of giving you an insight of what it's really like to work to live and work at the heart of Europe.

There will be two identical sessions; lunch (1pm) and evening (6pm). Places are limited, so we would ask you to register in advance to confirm attendance. Please register for ONE session only.

To register please send your name, organisation details and the time of the session you would like to attend to:
