Visit the European Societies Discussion Forum

What are the sociological implications of the appointment of the first
EU President?

What can sociologists learn from the phenomenon of 'lifestyle
migration'?

Is there really a distinction between 'the informal economy' and 'big
business'?

Sociologists, economists, political scientists and social policy
analysts now have the opportunity to debate these and other key issues
at www.europeansocietiesforum.com
<http://www.europeansocietiesforum.com> , a lively interactive forum
dedicated to current European issues from a sociological perspective.
The forum is hosted by the journal European Societies, and moderated by
its editor, John Scott (University of Plymouth). At least one article
will be selected from each issue of European Societies and be made free
to access to forum participants who can then immediately respond and
debate with their peers. In addition, participants will be able to
suggest topics for discussion that they feel are relevant or are
especially current and need further investigation.

Europe is in the midst of massive changes, including the transformations
in east and central Europe and the increasing integration of the
European Union. For over ten years European Societies has been a central
reference point for researchers and policy analysts of Europe. Now the
journal offers you the chance to join the debate: click here

Best wishes
