Bizarrely these people cold call!

Yes, they target people from the phone book. And just often enough they hit coincidence and pay dirt.  A couple of years back I helped a list member here try to track one down. They thought there was a leak. There was not. We met after I was cold called by one and I got in touch with the UK NHS hospital.

I'm sure the person I worked with will identify themselves to you privately, possibly publicly. The eventual outcome will be interesting, but these sharks and charlatans need to be stopped.

Dear All

Has anyone had any experience with making holiday claims and injury lawyers?– we have a case where a patient had an accident and subsequently contacted their holiday insurance as they could no longer go on holiday.

Shortly after they received an unsolicited text message - giving details of their injury and how much they could help them claim

They initially thought it had come from the hospital but we obviously would not pass such information on  – do insurance companies pass such details on routinely?

Regards

Sara
