MRes INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY AND POLITICS

The Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster recently launched a new Masters in Research course in International Environmental Policy and Politics. Starting in autumn 2010, this course will equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to analyse, evaluate and manage a wide range of issues in environmental policy and politics, providing you with:

    • advanced knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues in environmental policy and politics, at both national and international levels
    • a comprehensive grounding in cutting edge research and the skills and tools needed for effective leadership in the research process, policy analysis and expert decision making
  • the opportunity to conduct in depth and extensive individual research projects with thorough and supportive one to one supervision, exploring research interests in a stimulating, research driven academic environment
  • transferable skills and access to networks of practitioners and academic experts both in the United Kingdom and internationally.

The course is designed for both professionals with at least three years' work experience, and recent graduates wishing to specialise in international environmental policy and politics and/or preparing for MPhil/PhD. It can be taken full-time over 12 months, or part-time over 24 months (with flexible enrolment, in October and January).
