I'm looking for references where people have tried to at least
vaguely quantify the energetics of stacking the guanidinium
groups of two R's. I'm looking at 3 cases in protein-protein
interfaces, and in each one there's a D or E adjacent, which
presumably helps with the charge-charge repulsion.
Hints as to where to start reading?
  thanks in advance,
    Phoebe
