Dear Colleagues
 
I'm looking around for a definitive statement regarding maximum speed for an indoor powered wheelchair.  I've looked at the spec sheet for various manufacturers' wheelchairs and there seems to be some variation, anything from 2.5 to 4km/hour. 
 
The class 2 max. speed of 6.5km/hour is relevant to indoor/outdoor powered wheelchairs but I don't see a similar statement for indoor only powered wheelchairs.  
 
Can anyone help clarify this issue?
