Members of the list might be interested in the following announcement: FROM BOOKS TO BEZOARS: an international conference celebrating the 350th anniversary of the birth of Sir Hans Sloane, physician, naturalist and collector, will be held at the British Library on 7 and 8 June 2010. The conference forms part of the Sloane Printed Books project, funded by the Wellcome Trust, and is generously supported by the British Library and the British Museum.
