Trainee Biostatistician/STATISTICIAN Salary: £25,751 - £28,983 (Trainee Biostatistician)/ £31,671 - £35,646+ (Statistician) p.a. REF: 00048-2 This post is available as either a Statistician (grade 7) or as a Trainee Biostatistician (grade 6). At the statistician level you will work on a wide variety of statistical projects in the biomedical area, develop your expertise as a statistical consultant and contribute to published research. Experience in statistical computing is essential. At the trainee biostatistician level you will be able to conduct routine statistical analyses and write reports on these. You will have basic experience in statistical computing. You will undergo training in more advanced statistical methods and programming. This post has funding for 3 years in the first instance.
