Call for papers
The Upland Caves Network invites papers for the above conference on any aspects of cave archaeology, from history of science to current excavations, archive enhancement or future strategies.
Slots will be 20 mins long (15 mins for the talk and 5 for questions).
The Upland Caves Network is funded by the AHRC (Arts and Humanities Research Council) and has held a series of meetings on cave-related topics. The meeting will be held in the Kanaris lecture theatre at Manchester Museum from
10am to 4.30pm each day.
There is no registration fee and teas and coffees will be provided, however lunch is not
included. There are a number of cafes in the Museum and local area where lunch can
be purchased.
The Kanaris lecture theatre is on the first floor of the Museum and lift access is
available. Manchester Museum is ~15 minutes walk from Manchester Oxford Road train
station, and there are direct trains from Manchester Airport to Manchester Oxford Road.
