Registration is now open at http://online.ima.org.uk/ <http://online.ima.org.uk/> 5th IMA Conference on Mathematics in Transport Hosted by the Centre for Transport Studies, University College London Monday 12th April – Wednesday 14th April 2010 The conference will bring together academics and practitioners with an interest in the application of mathematics within all aspects of transport planning, management and analysis. Topics to be included within the conference will apply branches of mathematics such as * Statistical or mathematical analysis of real or theoretical systems * Developments of solution, optimisation or control algorithms * Improved approaches to planning, scheduling or operations management * Representation and modelling of complex systems to any mode or aspect of transport including (but not limited to) safety, energy, robustness, routing, tolling, signals, vehicle dynamics, logistics, reliability, environmental impact, demand responsive systems, crowd dynamics, choice modelling, distributed intelligence or mixed‑mode flows.
