Dear all Sense About Science will be holding a session at AAAS on Sunday 21st February discussing the myth busting activities of the Voice of Young Science network. AAAS 2010 Annual Meeting Marriott Hotel Marina Ballroom F 10.30 - 11.30 am Sunday, February 21st 2010 Should all scientists confront bad science? Will it create public scepticism or cynicism? How does it affect the relationship between scientists and the media? Evidence hunting scientists campaigns and campaigns debunking medical myths have attracted widespread media attention. The panel will discuss whether myth busting is the future of the civic scientist and whether this will raise the quality of scientific debate.
