** The Music and Science list is managed by the Institute of Musical Research (www.music.sas.ac.uk) as a bulletin board and discussion forum for researchers working at the shared boundaries of science and music. **

MESSAGE FOLLOWS:

This message is mainly addressed to postgraduates in music psychology.
Please do forward it to your postgrads.

The first workshop in the Centre for Musical Performance as Creative
Practice's project investigating musicians' concepts of shape in
performance will be held in London on 10-11 March. The provisional
timetable follows. Speakers have not been asked for titles, but will be
showing how their own specialistions may shed light on links between
music and shape.

This is an invitation-only event, but there is a very small number of
places available in the room for visitors. Postgrads working in music
psychology might find it especially interesting. If you would like to
come please email me, [log in to unmask], with details of
your interest and I'll try to devise a fair way of allocating places.
Email me privately, please, not the whole list!

Best wishes,
Dan L-W
