With apologies for cross-posting: If interested, please respond at the web address given below. A research student based in London or Cambridge, in any subject, is sought as a part-time assistant for the RBAE Project. Duties will involve maintaining contact with a large and growing number of editors and contributors in Europe and elsewhere, preparing volumes for the Series (17 so far, published by Continuum) including some editing (depending on subject and languages), helping to organize seminars, conferences and colloquia both in Britain and abroad, and participating in the development of the Project's online bibliographic database. Candidates must be fluent in English and at least one other European language. Proficiency in using MS Office (principally Word, Excel, Publisher) is highly desirable. The assistant will work on a freelance contract (initially 3 months) with the Research Director & Series Editor, Project Officer and database designer and be reimbursed at an agreed hourly rate, according to age, qualifications and experience. We are an informal group, and seek a colleague who can work independently. A flexible working pattern will also be possible, in arranging hours to suit the assistant's own timetable. Details of the Project can be found at http://www.clarehall.cam.ac.uk/rbae
