*Scientific Themes *

Thermo2010 aims to provide a platform for discussion and debate on all
aspects of thermochronology, and we invite contributions from all
developmental, applied and interpretive areas. Thermo2010 will have
three overarching interdisciplinary themes of:

*Innovation *- the development and innovative applications of
    thermochronological systems
*Integration* - the combination of techniques, methods and models to
    maximise the t-T information
*Interpretation* - the application of thermochronology to
    understanding the Earth

We strongly encourage submissions from all fields of thermochronology
research, and will endeavour to reflect the interests of Thermo2010
delegates in the final program. Thermo2010 hopes to promote active
participation from a large number of graduate students and early career
researchers. Each of final sessions will accept both oral and poster
presentations.

S-01: The behaviour of noble gasses in minerals
S-02: Challenges and opportunities in fission track analysis
S-03: Technical advances in low temperature thermochronology
S-04: Novel applications of thermochronometers
S-05: Deriving thermal histories
S-06: Detrital thermochronology
S-07: Denudation to deposition
S-08: Thermochronology of high-temperature high-pressure rocks
S-09: Topo-Europe
S-10: Interpretation of thermochronological data: limitations and
potential
S-11: Modelling shallow crustal processes using thermochronology
S-12: Thermochronology and hydrocarbon exploration
S-13: Thermochronology in action
