MLA NSPCC safeguarding advice surgeries Following the recent safeguarding seminars within the MLA's national Strategic Commissioning CPD programme, a senior consultant from the NSPCC has been commissioned to discuss key aspects of safeguarding and child protection with museum and archive educators, including: - NEW ISA - VETTING & BARRING SCHEME - DEVELOPING / UPDATING A CHILD PROTECTION POLICY - IMPROVING DAY-TO-DAY PROCEDURES AND PRACTICES - REGIONAL SAFEGUARDING CONTACTS. Meetings with the NSPCC consultant will take place on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
