Bias exists in NRT alike for poorly conducted RCTs....i.e. unequal treatment of groups, no blinding, no uniform protocols, no indication of why the exclusions...groups will probably not be comparable (selection bias) as no allocation concealment will be done...confounding will be rpesent as would not have dispersed the unknown factors between groups in an equal prob fashion...may lack adjusted analysis which is often used to address confounding...a protocol may not have been prepared....
