When? Wednesday 24 March
Where? Your office or anywhere you are!

How can museums and galleries best reach out and make themselves, their exhibitions and their spaces accessible to family audiences - especially those with young children?

Join us on 24 March for an International Online Seminar with specialist exhibition consultant Dr Vicky Cave.

Vicky has over 17 years' exhibition development experience, having worked with the Science Museum, Explore@Bristol, the National Maritime Museum and Eureka! The Museum for Children. She has also undertaken important research studies for strategic organisations including NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts).

What you'll learn
The seminar will draw on both practical experience and research studies and as a result you'll learn:
* how to include your target audience in the development process;
* how to design in factors which positively influence your visitors’ behaviour;
* what elements children and families find welcoming in galleries and exhibitions;
* how to use "story-building" to positive effect;
* how to incorporate elements which encourage communication within families;
* how to ensure the needs and interests of your audience feature in your exhibition planning.

The seminar will be highly interactive and you'll be able to pinpoint in advance particular issues you’d like Vicky to explore, and ask questions to get the information you need to address your organisation's challenges.

Extraordinary value and convenience
The seminar gives you access to unique advice, information and inspiration - from the comfort of your laptop or desktop computer. No travel time or expense involved!

Planning and Designing for Children and Families is terrific value at just £47 (Limited Time Early-Bird Rate). And that's not just for one delegate... you can participate with a group of your colleagues at no extra cost! Your fee also includes access to the recording of the event, and also the ability to share the recorded experience with your colleagues - all inclusive.
