Hi everyone,

I'm a new member on dis-forum so it's good to meet you.

I'm interested in any sort of plan, or things people are doing that would help students as they start at a new university. This is a difficult time with a steep learning curve so anything that makes things a little easier would be very welcome.

I was wondering if there is anyone out there who could let me know what they are doing specifically to support students with Aspergers as they enter university, or what is happening for you as students as you enter HE, from those of you who have a either good idea or something in place. This could be anything to do with familiarization, transition over to HE, emerging issues that have arisen, problems and solutions concerning independent learning or other ways in which to help. As we have had an increasing cohort of student's with Aspergers in the past years this is something we are keen to address so any information about what you have going on or ideas for the future would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward hearing from you out there and to any suggestions you may have.

Thanking you in anticipation
Karen
