As always, apologies for cross-posting.
The AAG has now made available its preliminary schedule for its 2010
meeting in Washington, DC, and on behalf of the Socialist and Critical
Geography Specialty Group (SCGSG), I am pleased to announce our slate
of sponsored sessions at the upcoming meeting. This year the SCGSG is
sponsoring a large number of paper and panel sessions, with 42
different sessions or groups of sessions in total, as well as our
annual group business meeting (Friday, April 16, 8-9 pm) and the James
Blaut Memorial Award and Lecture (Saturday, April 17, 2:40-4:20 pm).
The full list of sponsored sessions is available on the group website
at
http://www.neiu.edu/~scgsg/sponsoredSessions.html.
The conference schedule remains subject to change, and we will send out
another reminder of our sponsored sessions closer to the AAG meeting
itself. If any sponsored session organizers have questions or concerns
about the listing on the website above, please email me at
