ReseaRch studentships commencing octobeR 2010
TuiTion fees paid and sTipend of £15,500 p.a.
the university of Westminster is internationally recognised for its research in a wide range of subject areas. We focus on excellence in research that makes a difference – benefitting academia, industry and professional practice.
We continue to build on our success through a programme of fully funded research studentships commencing in october 2010. these are available to suitably qualified and motivated applicants for project areas within the following broad subject categories:
aRchitectuRe, tRanspoRt and pLanning • aRt and design • asian studies • business and management • computing, inFoRmatics and eLectRonics • engLish Language • higheR oR teRtiaRY education • histoRY • LaW • LiFe, heaLth and enViRonmentaL sciences • media and communication • psYchoLogY • VisuaL cuLtuRe
in addition to their phd studies, successful candidates will be expected to undertake up to six hours per week assisting with teaching and other academic duties. the university will provide support for these activities including attendance at education courses that can lead to additional qualifications.
