For information, ECU has released briefings about the practical issues that arise on campus in relation the provision of facilities and services (e.g. prayer facilities) ‘Religious observance in higher education: facilities and services‘ and institutional timetabling of assessment, teaching and contractual hours ‘Religious observance in higher education: institutional timetabling and work patterns’ This discusses rights and responsibilities and includes a range of case studies from institutions in the sector.

I am doing some research on facilities for prayer particularly for those of the Muslim faith.  I was wondering if anyone knows (or could point me in the right direction) what facilities and time off studies are allowed for Muslim (and other faith group) students at Universities in predominantly Muslim counties?
