Relief Services Coordinator

“Full Time”

WHOS, based in NSW and QLD, cater for individuals who are experiencing difficulties with Alcohol and other Drug dependence. Our programs are based on the Therapeutic Community (TC) model of care. We currently have services located in Sydney, the Hunter Valley and on the Sunshine Coast.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person for this newly created position to provide ‘full time relief’ duties across the range of WHOS services.

This diversified role includes duties across a number of TC services and projects consisting of small teams including but not limited to; TCs (Therapeutic Communities) specifically for Men and Women’s, Pharmacotherapy TCs and other WHOS enhancement services,

e.g.  family support, aftercare & outreach, therapeutic environment operational coordination.  If you are looking to initiate, expand or develop your career in AOD and want to be part of a growing organisation this may be just right for you.

Requirements:

Recognised qualification in AOD and /or extensive experience in the AOD or related field, minimum 3 years experience in assessment, referral and case management and a current NSW drivers licence, 1st aid certificate, computer literacy and word processing skills.

Desirable:

Experience in mental health work and harm minimisation initiatives.


Remuneration:

In accordance with the SACS Award, Salary Packaging available.
