medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Dear Marjorie,

_Superiorum permissu_, you might wish to pull the postings from the list's archives (these ordinarily are instantaneous, though the first day of the month is sometimes a bit slow off the mark):
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=MEDIEVAL-RELIGION
(NB: the archives are always accessible by using the last of the links that the list's software kindly adds to each of our postings.)

Two other advantages of the archives are 1) the thread arrangement allows one quickly to find corrections and other supplementary comments and 2) the archives are fully searchable all the way back to April 1996. Words with diacriticals are mildly problematic both at the list's JISCmail site and in the Shutterfly 'Texts' feature but are findable in both by stopping before or starting after the offending character (e.g. search for instances of 'Uzès' by 'Uz' only [without the quotation marks], observing in passing that such truncation searching also brings up instances of the related and perhaps not irrelevant 'Uzège' -- though it will bring up 'Uzbekistan' as well if that's in the corpus being searched).

Best,
John Dillon
