(though nothing would suprise me...) This is EXACTLY the point made in "Pearl"! The Father encounters in a dream /vision his daughter who died as a child but the woman in his vision is an adult. He comments on this and the woman tells him, yes, it is so; she is his daughter. Still looking for the text!
