Call for papers
The sixth Designs on E-Learning international conference in the use of technology for teaching and learning in art, design and communication will be hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia, USA on the 15th, 16th and 17th September 2010.

Conference Themes:

Presentations:
Full paper presentations: 45 minutes each
Seminar (short) presentations: 25 minutes each
Demos: 30 minutes each
Roundtables: 5-15 minutes each

Registration will open on February 1, 2010. Online submission of papers will be available from the same date. There will be a discount for presenters.

Submitted abstracts will be assessed in a blind review process by a distinguished international committee.

Full Research Papers
Designs on eLearning invites the submission of abstracts for consideration for research papers by 24th April 2010. The abstract should consist of a description of the proposed paper including reference to the problem, methodology and conclusions of the work described.
The abstract should not exceed 500 words in length. This will be the version published in the papers for the conference.
The conference Review Committee will make a decision in May based on the abstract whether to proceed to full papers. The submission deadline for full papers will be 30th July 2010.
The Full paper will be published in the Designs on eLearning 2010 Conference Proceedings.

Short Papers:
The abstract should not exceed 500 words in length. This will be the version published in the papers for the conference and in the Designs on eLearning 2010 Conference Proceedings.


Posters/Demos:
There will be a limited space available for the display of information relating to work in progress, ongoing projects and research findings relating to the use of computers in teaching and learning in art, design and communication. The Designs on eLearning Committee will consider descriptions of projects or concepts of no more than 300 words for proposed posters.

Roundtables:
Roundtables will be seminar discussions. Six tables will be available for 10-15 minute presentations. Attendees may visit tables as they wish.
