Invitation - extra meeting due to high demand

London: SEN/Additional Learning Needs/Disability Network Meeting
Enhancing and supporting the progression of disabled learners

20th January 2010, Location: London, Venue: Regent’s College, London
12:30 - 15:00, a lunch will be served at 12 noon

Since 2006 Action on Access have organised a series of highly successful disability and widening participation forums and network meetings which targeted staff in higher education institutions. We would like to continue to build on the interest generated by these meetings and provide further support to the whole of the education sector.

Action on Access therefore invites you to take part in one of our innovative network meetings.  These events are open to all staff who work with disabled learners in schools, further education colleges and higher education institutions. They are intended to provide a forum for open discussion regarding the issues in supporting disabled learners' progression through the education system into higher levels of study.
Issues to be discussed include:
·         Examples of practice which targets the needs of disabled learners
·         Support systems in further and higher education
·         Barriers to success for learners with special educational needs
·         National Policy

The meeting is free of charge and places will be reserved on a first-come-first served basis. Booking forms are available from.
