Colleagues Further to the consultation on Part 1 Chapter 2 of RIPA conducted last year, the Home Office has published a new Statutory Instrument which sets out who can access communications data, for what purposes and who can authorise the action. The Regulation of Investigatory Powers (Communications Data) Order 2010 will come into force on 6th April 2010.
