Hi Anna,

I don't know if your project needs to be specifically adult therapy related or not, but the first thing that sprang to my mind was the "who's problem is this?" type issues in child and family work (also in LD and older adults etc...). Feel free to email me off - list if you'd like to discuss further.

good luck with it!

Subject: [COMMUNITYPSYCHUK] Research Topic

Hi,

I am new this mailing list and hope I am using it appropriately. I am trainee clinical psychologist currently deciding on a research topic. I am considering exploring therapists views around the idea of therapy as social control.  I wondered if anybody had any opinion on this and/or could advise me on any specific reading (although I have done a lit search) as I am aware that there may be some papers/workshops that might be interesting?

Thanks in advance

Anna
