The job of the International Association of Emergency Managers, IAEM,  is to sift through the over 300 aid organisations in Haiti and to recommend who is real and who is bogus. I spent over two years working in Haiti with an office on the same street with the multitudes of those organisations and know that most of them have either their own agendas about the country and/or are just crooked. Those contemplating assisting with the relief and care effort presently underway could do no better than to go to the IAEM website and look at relief references.
