LEARNING DEVELOPMENT UNIT

 

UNIVERSITY OF SALFORD

 

GRADE: 8 

      

SALARY: £36,532 - £43,622

 

 

We are looking for two individuals with demonstrable experience of working to support academic staff in the enhancement of learning and teaching in Higher Education, to join a newly established Learning Development Unit at the University of Salford.  

 

The Learning Development Unit works closely with academic colleagues to drive forward the University's 'Learning, Teaching & Enhancement Strategy' and leads on institutional initiatives in learning, teaching and assessment, including integrative and innovative approaches to the application of technology-enhanced learning.

 

You will be responsible for designing and delivering (face-to-face and online) a series of contemporary and innovative academic development activities e.g. workshops, seminars and bespoke events, including the production of resources for University staff under the direction of the Head of Academic Practice and the Director of Learning Development.  A major requirement of this role is to contribute to the design, delivery and assessment of a new suite of accredited postgraduate programmes in Academic Practice.
