Dear Colleagues: You may find David Books article in today's (Dec. 22) New York Times worth reading. "Protocol" seems to stand in for design in its new strategic thinking guise quite nicely. His description of Richard Ogle's book " Smart World" as applying " the theory of networks and the philosophy of the extended mind -- to show how real world innovation emerges from social clusters." makes that book a "must read" for me.
