Ian Thank you for that suggestion - I had in mind looking there if other avenues failed. I was aware of Harmby - Harmby Limestone Quarries Ltd went into liquidation in 1932 with one W L Bentham as liquidator. I am not aware they were taken over by Ord & Maddison - all their interests I know of were in Teesdale and Weardale. They have certainly Inspectors Reports covering it, which might include your quarry. Harmby Limestone Company Limited, was also run by F.L. Bentham of Bentham Buildings in Middlesbrough. 1910 to 1914. Were they taken over by Ord & Maddison? Ian
