This Hefce response could be one of them; there have also been a number of activities during the year, such as the meeting with DCMS staff, which members may like to hear about. The conference is policy-oriented, so there could be a number of issues raised in the programme that members would like to pursue. I second Salvo's good wishes for the season. The consultation had set out proposals for all key aspects of the framework and invited responses from across the UK and invited responses from the higher education sector as well as organisations with an interest in the use and impact of research - from the private, public and third sectors, to be submitted by 16 December 2009.
