Dear all,
If you have a minute, can
I encourage you all to sign this petition (if you haven’t done so)
against the ludicrous proposed CRB changes upon school exchanges.
In theory, we as a school could be fined £5000 for non-compliance from
February next year. Please feel free to pass this around in your school or add
on to other teachers’ forums that you know of.
Thanks,
Josh

School Exchange [Scanned]
Dear All,
My colleague at work sent me
a link for a petition with the covering paragraph below. This is to protest
against the introduction of CRB checks for host families of school exchanges
from 24th July next year.
"You might like to sign
this petition I created on the Downing Street Website. It is a way for citizens
to raise issues of concern. The more signatures it gets the more the govt. is
likely to respond and act on it.
For example, road pricing
was dropped in response to a petition with 1.8 million signatures. Please feel
free to pass onto colleagues/add to forums etc to drum up further
interest."

If you agree with the petition,
please add your name to the site and pass on the web address to your
colleagues.
