The Awards will cover all expenses, including Conference registration, hotel accommodation, economy return airfare to New Orleans and meals. The deadline for applications is 31 January 2010, and winners will be notified in February. For full details on eligibility rules and the application procedure, please visit www.sla-europe.org. Bethan Ruddock, co-chair of the Early Career Committee said "The Awards are very important to SLA Europe, and the wider SLA, as a way to connect with students and early career professionals. As a former award-winner, I cannot emphasise enough how valuable this has been for my career. I am delighted that I now have the chance to work with the SLA Europe board to promote these fantastic opportunities." Sara Batts, one of the 2009 award winners said "The ECCA was an amazing chance, one that I wanted to grab with both hands. I crammed so much into a short space of time. I cannot thank the sponsors and mentors that made it happen enough. It was enormous fun. And along the way, I've made some interesting contacts and met some great people from all over the world".
