case studies: Advancing LGBT Equality
Dear Chris,
I shall be meeting with members of our LGBT Staff Network tomorrow evening. We
will discuss the project and I will get back to you before the end of the week.
In all likelihood we will have something to contribute but I need to
speak with everyone before I fully commit us.
Regards

Dear All,
Further to my email below, I would still be interested to hear from any HEIs
that can help provide examples of effect practice in the areas listed.
If you think that you may be able to help, please email me by the end of the
week, or if it is more convenient, please do not hesitate to call me.
Many thanks to those of you that have responded already,
Kind regards

case studies: Advancing LGBT equality and tackling homophobia
Share your institution’s approach to advancing LGBT
equality for inclusion in forthcoming ECU briefing
ECU is interesting in hearing from any institution that is making positive
steps to tackle homophobia and advance LGBT equality. We wish to feature your
experiences in a short briefing that ECU is developing to address the concerns
and issues raised in our research launched earlier this year ‘The
experiences of LGBT staff and students in higher education <http://www.ecu.ac.uk/publications/lgbt-staff-and-students-in-he>
’. We will use any responses to build upon the recent examples
shared on AdminEO this month.
We are especially interested to hear about the positive steps your HEI has
taken in the following areas:
Identifying and
tackling homophobic behaviour
Supporting and
raising the visibility of LGBT staff and students
If you would like to contribute your experiences to the briefing, please email [log in to unmask]">[log in to unmask]
