An editorial in today's Times reminds us that a group of IT professors wrote to a Parliamentary select committee in 2006 pointing out serious problems with the NPfIT as planned. It's a bit like the Iraq war - you could see the Government pushing ahead into disaster but could do nothing to stop it.
