GIS Analyst position Ref: GIS/09.01  

Background

Hartley Anderson Limited (www.hartleyanderson.com) provides independent, 
environmental consultancy to governments, conservation bodies, the energy 
and other industries both in the UK and overseas. Our consultancy team has 
significant experience and expertise in carrying out environmental research 
and management and we are committed to delivering high quality services and 
solutions to our clients.

Since 1999, we have been closely involved in the programme management and 
consultancy for the UK Offshore Energy Strategic Environmental Assessment 
(SEA) process (www.offshore-sea.org.uk). Through the SEA and other 
environmental management work, Hartley Anderson has been developing and 
expanding our GIS capabilities to allow us to deliver innovative environmental 
spatial solutions to clients. We are currently seeking to recruit a GIS Analyst 
to join our GIS team to provide support for our current GIS work and to help 
us develop and deliver further services in our GIS portfolio.  

The position will be located in our Aberdeen office.  Aberdeen is a compact 
but vibrant city and provides access to some of the best mountains and 
beaches in Britain. Starting salary is dependent on experience and skills, 
attractive holiday allowance, and company contribution to pension.
