From: Hugo Blake

Hi

We added a sentence to SPMA's description inside the cover of the
Post-Medieval Archaeology journal in 2006 (vol. 40:1)

"The Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology was founded in 1966 to
promote the archaeology of late medieval to industrial society in
Britain, Europe and those countries influenced by European colonialism.
The Society now covers the archaeology of the period up to the present
day."

to reflect what seemed to have been SPMA's practice since at least it
held its Frameworks meeting at the Society of Antiquaries of London in
2002.
