In the New Creation to come after the end of all things there will, very specifically, be no sea (Revelation 21.1). Bit of a shame, I think, as I'm rather fond of the briny. Still, perhaps I can put in a bid for Chesil Beach to be preserved. Unless I have other things to worry about come the Day of Judgement.
