_RICHMOND PSYCHOSOCIAL FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL_

_Chief Executive and Three Deputy Managers_

RPFI is a charity about to expand its provision of residential
therapeutic care in the field of mental health and learning
difficulties. It currently has three homes with capacity for circa 10
residents each. These are:

    *

Lancaster Lodge, an 11 bed unit in Richmond for adults on mental
      health recovery programmes,

    *

Lytton House, an 8 bed unit in Putney, for adolescents with
      emotional and behavioural difficulties, and

    *

The White House, an 8 bed unit in Twickenham for adults with
      learning difficulties

RPFI has an important role in developing countries by offering
consultancy training placements in its UK homes to Fellowship Homes
created abroad as well as posting its own staff on placements overseas.

_Chief Executive_

As Chief Executive you will need to have a broad vision and
understanding not only of responsible management but also of both the
service provision and training aspects of our work. Experience in the
requirements and policies of mental health and care home provision, and
of therapeutic community principles, will inform your management and
promotion of the organisation. You will be prepared to travel and to
explore the needs of overseas potential providers, with particular
reference to developing countries, where budgets are even more stringent
than in the UK.

In your leadership of this Charity you will be creative and
motivational, able to attend to detail whilst appreciating the broad
picture, and to maintain good communications with staff, referral
agencies, our partners and the Trustees of RPFI to whom you will be
accountable. You will oversee the RPFI budget and undertake fund-raising
and advocacy. This is an exciting opportunity for a capable, energetic
and responsible leader to have a key role in the development of a
creative organisation.
