Thank you all for
your answers, I have both been chastised and amused. I'm not sure which I
prefer.
Further digging has
highlighted that we do have a BC contract which may cover this incident, this is
run by our Archive service which is remote from my modern Records Management
area. I am now in contact with them. We move forwards.
The good news is
that the pigeons are no longer a problem as the rats have chased them
away:-)
