Overview of project outcomes
The project’s focus on using DE as a means of improving both the
understanding and application of science offers benefits to stakeholders
in science and DE and responds to the needs addressed in 5.4. It proposes
additional ways for teachers and science educators to engage with pupils
in science teaching, while providing young people themselves with a wider
and potentially motivating perspective on studying science. DE educators
are made aware of an important additional channel for the delivery of
messages about tackling global development issues.
