Hi Laura
I have several I use and adapt from time to time...
"it is the decision of management if the recommendations can be supported by the company"

"I have advised Mr x to discuss my recommendations with his manager to establish if these can be supported and other options available."

"a suggested phased return to work programme may be X hours per day for the first week..... I have advised Mr X that working hours are the remit of the manager and start and finish times will be a management decision as to the business need (however consideration may need to be given to start time)"

I dont always put the bracket section in depends on the individual/condition etc. I may be more specific.

but these phrases do put the ball firmly in the manager/company's court.

Hello,

I have been asked to look at standard phrases that we can put in our
management reports that make it clear that any OH adjustments or
recommendations is just "advice" and that the business needs to decide
whether they can accommodate the recommendations.

I was wondering if anyone else is using a similar phase......

Take Care
