During 1979 - 1980 Cominco (UK) Ltd undertook a deep drilling and an underground investigation programme at Devon Great Consols. As I understand it the intention was to look for the fabled tin lode beneth the copper. In spite of hitting granite at -2000 feet and taking cores down to -2200 no tin was found. Can anybody expand on this. Rick Stewart
