Can you hear the sleigh bells ringing? Gemmers are invited to join board members of the International Museum Theatre Alliance (IMTAL) for some Christmas cheer. We are hosting Christmas gatherings in our own areas over the next couple of weeks, to which anyone interested in drama for learning, live interpretation and museum theatre is very welcome. These are informal gatherings in venues with café/bars at which people can have a drink and a snack and share their experiences of 2009 and their plans for 2010. UK dates and venues are: 28th November, Guernsey 6th December, Bristol 10th December, London 16th December, Manchester Full details are on the forthcoming events page of our website www.imtal-europe.com Also look out for details of "(more of) Less of the Verbal", our forthcoming training day. This is a repeat, by popular demand, of the session led by Emily Capstick and Alison Hale of Peoplescape on non-verbal communication in museum education and interpretation. It is especially suited to people working with learners who have special needs, or for whom English is a second language. Museum of London, Docklands. 22nd January 2010.
