Dear Ivana,

When I used example data to run Possum, I only acquired one 3D volume as fMRI data set. But the fMRI data set should be 4D and the fourth dimension should be time. Why was that?

Thanks,

Zheng

Dear Zheng,
Combination of the 3D T2* map and the time course is done within the code . All you need to do is specify a 3D map file and a time course file which consists of two columns [time, intensity]. Intensity is multiplied with the 3D map in the code. This way you get variations of your map in time .

Hi Ivana,

Thanks for your help very much. I have read the discription you told me. T2* maps should be 4D volumes and the 4th dimension would be time points. When use 3D T2* map and a modulation time course, I want to know how the time course make the 3D T2* varying with time, or make the T2* map chang to 4D.

Also Is there some T2*(t) function with BOLD stimulus?

Thank you and have a good day.

Best,
Zheng

Hi all,

Do anybody know how to simulate fMRI? I want to use Possum to do it, but I don't know how to create my own T2* map with varying time.

Thanks for any advice.
