>> Any suggestions/new articles/references on why clinicians
donīt follow clinical practice guidelines? audits, feedbacks and any other
relevant interventions are welcome
Hi Carlos and Group
We talked about clinical decision making
quite a lot in
Attached are the first 3 papers in a
series of 5 which describe in some detail a fusion of clinical decision making
with EBM approaches. There’s about two years of work in these off and on
so be gentle, but comments and feedback are very welcome. Indeed, support and
stimulation from the group has been instrumental in getting us to put the papers
together.
I’d say immediately that already some
of the thinking in these papers has been further streamlined in the 6 months since
they went into the publishers, but that’s always the case.
So Carlos, we’d urge some thought
about the human dimensions as well as “making things happen” using
processes to implement the best available evidence.
I’ll post the final 2 papers to the
group in January (unless you ask me not to). J
Best wishes
