Hi

with due apologies for self-promotion, colleagues may be interested in the publication yesterday of our overview report for the Office for Disability Issues on the state of policy relevant research evidence supporting the UK government's Independent Living Strategy.

http://www.officefordisability.gov.uk/research/research-reports.php#rea

The 136 page report provides a critical overview of the state-of-the-art, with illustrative examples of specific research studies, in two key areas - 'Choice and Control' and 'Access to Goods and Services'. One of its aims is to highlight where there are gaps in research evidence that could help policy makers in these areas. It may therefore be of particular interest as a reference point for UK researchers in thinking about research priorities.

Best wishes
